Some guests express concerns about the dining space during peak hours, noting the limited seating that can make busy nights feel quite cramped. Additionally, a few diners have pointed out that the restaurant can get a bit loud when packed, potentially affecting conversation. The transition from a traditional pub to an Indian restaurant also creates mixed feelings; long-time patrons from the pub era may find it hard to adjust to the new menu and ambiance. Another minor issue has been occasional service delays during busy periods, though staff members strive to maintain a welcoming attitude and promptly attend to patrons.
Just fabulous! We have stayed at the Premier Inn next door and visited this establishment in its previous form. After being closed for some time we learned it had reopened as an Indian restaurant so we changed our plans for the evening so we could give it a go… Winner! From the start it was great! The lovely lady behind the bar couldn’t do enough for us and the food both tasted wonderful and was excellent value. Every plate coming past us to other tables looked amazing and we both wish all of the staff the very best for their continued success. We had a wonderful evening!
The Fradley Arms is now under new management. It is no longer a familiar pub with the attached Wacky Warehouse, it has actually been completely revamped to the point that it should no longer be a pub serving food but an authentic indian eatery also serving your favourite drinks. We didn’t know what to expect, but we did not expect to have such beautiful, flavour rich Indian dishes that felt like they should be coming from the highly rated Indian food restaurants that you trust and love. This place is the real deal, it’s traditional food with a family friendly atmosphere that is as welcoming as going to your family gatherings. Give this place a try, things have changed at the Fradley Arms.
We had 35 people in for a post work meeting meal, all the food was great and on time. We were well looked after from booking and negotiating the meal options for the event to the service whilst we were in the great function room they have.
Went for lunch, pretty quiet but was a Wednesday mid day. Food was delicious, proper Indian cuisine. Staff also really friendly and happy to advise on levels of spice if you like it on the hot or mild side. Weekends get pretty busy so best to book.
Food and service is incredible since it’s been taken over as the Indian Bar and Grill at the start of 2025. Ignore the old reviews as it’s from the previous ownership. The mixed grills are amazing and highly recommended. Staff are warm and welcoming.
We went here today to celebrate my husband's birthday. The price of food were reasonable, the food were tasty and the place were clean. We ordered buttered chicken, egg fried rice, rogan lamb and large mixed grill. Although the butter chicken was sweeter than I expected but still nice. We really like the rogan lamb and the large mixed grill, everything tasted fresh and flavourful. The mixed grill comes with 2 sauces on a squeezy bottles so you can have it as much as you want. The cider we ordered were nice and refreshing. And i'm quite impressed that the toilet was so clean. The staffs were all nice and approachable as well. We will definitely come back and try their other dishes on the menu.
I recently visited this mixed grill place and was genuinely impressed! The food was delicious — my favourite was definitely the chili chicken and chips, packed with flavour and cooked to perfection. The service was outstanding, fast and super friendly. Special shoutout to Manpreet, who went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. You can really tell she takes pride in her work — hands down, the best worker there! The location is great too, easy to get to and clean with a welcoming vibe. Highly recommend if you’re in the area and craving a tasty grill!
